I've been privileged to watch Joe grow up. From the sweet little pageboy in his mini suit to the smart, quick witted, talented young man he had become. He was a really lovely person, and had a great sense of humour and a brilliant mind. He taught me about pretty random stuff from oobleck to stag beetles to trap music. I will never forget watching him sing on stage with his guitar, and the faces of his family, proud and full of love and admiration. He was so talented. Joe also had a sweetness and patience with Cherrie, for which I am grateful. Thinking of Joe's family and sending all my love.
