I was one of Joe’s lecturers at college. It was a pleasure to have him in lessons. He’d always have interesting and engaging ideas to discuss about music. He seemed to have a real creative approach to his work, once coming in with a project he’d been working on mixing Italian folk music with electronic sounds. He’d also often have good recommendations of new artists to listen to and it was always enjoyable to chat about music with him.
