I was lucky enough to teach Joe A level sociology in his first year at BHASVIC. He was a rare student who could immediately relate academic studies to the real world, bringing his experiences to the classroom, demonstrating excellent analytical skills. I recall a fantastic presentation he gave, full of humour and wit, he had the class in stitches. His curiosity went beyond the classroom and he often stayed for further conversations with his friend sasa. He was a pleasure to teach and to know. My deepest sympathy go our to his family, he was a really special young man.
